Discovery
The new volunteer fire headquarters, located on historic Ridge Avenue in Southeast Indiana, respects the architectural style of the surrounding neighborhood and contributes to the civic image of the City. The City required numerous on-site fire training features to support their proactive training program led by five licensed instructors.
Creation
The station features administrative offices, a meeting/training room, kitchen/dining/dayroom, dormitory for six, a physical fitness training room, a rear access drive and four pull-through apparatus bays. CR incorporated many features into the interior of the building to support basic firefighting techniques and skills.
