CR Receives NEWH 2020 TopID Award

Categories: Recognition

CR architecture + design’s hospitality team was recently awarded the prestigious 2020 TopID award for their work on The Sire Hotel, the Hyatt Regency Orlando and the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites. After considering each firm’s quality of design work and their membership and support of their NEWH chapter, the honor is determined by the local NEWH chapters and regional boards to recognize and promote the best in the industry.

The Sire Hotel

Lexington’s bluegrass attitude and thoroughbred elegance will charm you with every stay at The Sire. A one-of-a-kind, boutique hotel in Lexington’s Gratz Park garden district, The Sire embodies the city’s uncompromising love for gentrified living.

Drawing inspiration from Lexington’s history of world-class horse racing, great statesmen and academic excellence, The Sire graciously welcomes you to its intimate lobby where you see glimpses of the local culture through refined details of local reference and rich finishes. Deep blue fills the room and is balanced with contemporary lighting and furnishings that reference time-honored, classic designs to create a truly unique heritage experience for the 21st century guest. Luxuriously appointed guestrooms pay homage to the past and gentile fashion is integrated to make them feel tailor-made. You’ll feel you’ve arrived in the Bluegrass, that unique slice of Kentucky with an identity rooted in equestrian culture.

Hyatt Regency Orlando

Inspired by the textures, color and light that is unique to Central Florida, the guestrooms, suites and concierge lounge at the Hyatt Regency Orlando provide a moment of tranquility to guests. Soft organic neutrals, vivid artwork and thoughtful details transform the space into a home away from home where visitors can relax and recharge in a light-filled and familiar oasis.

DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites

Open and airy, the DoubleTree surprises you with its contemporary garden atmosphere. Natural sophistication is represented through organic materials, furniture forms and a color palette reminiscent of a garden in bloom. Relax in one of the 204 guestrooms surrounded by comfortable furnishings with a botanical flair. The DoubleTree is a collection of simple things, paying homage to the garden state in an abstract and uncommon way.
